IMP Festival is the first major event in Italy totally focused on Photojournalism: a glimpse on the stories, the methods and the approaches of the best international photography.

Arriving to Padova:

IMP Festival exhibitions and activities will be held in more than 15 locations in the heart of Padova! Depending on how you reach the city we will suggest you different routes starting from one of the two ticket offices.

Arriving by car: Padova is linked with A4 (Venezia-Milano) highway, exit Padova Ovest or Padova Est, and with A13 (Bologna-Padova) highway, exit Padova Sud.

You can leave your car in one of the several parkings in the city center: Park Piazzale Boschetti is 15 minutes walk from Cattedrale Ex Macello – Ticket Office (where 12 exhibitions will be set up and many talks will take place).

Arriving by train: Padova train station is 15 minutes walk from both the ticket offices (Palazzo del Monte di Pietà or Cattedrale Ex Macello). You can choose indifferently from which one you want to start your visit!

Arriving by plane: Padova is closed to Treviso and Venezia Marco Polo airports (45 km far from Padova). Both of them provide public airbus shuttles that allowed you to reach Padova in around one hour. You will get to the Padova bus station, 15 minutes walk from both the ticket offices.

Arriving by bus: Many low cost busses reach Padova both on the Torino-Milano-Venezia line and Roma-Bologna-Venezia line. You will get to Padova bus station, 15 minutes walk from both the ticket offices.

Padova’s tram goes across the whole city center (runs every 7 minutes) and it links the train station to all the exhibition venues in less than 5 minutes. Tram is available from 6.00 a.m. till 11.30 p.m and the ticket price is 1,30 euros
